Important Information for StoreSense Resellers

StoreSense and eBay ProStores

With more consumers turning to their computers rather than their cars when it comes to making purchases, StoreSense makes a lot of sense for do-it-yourself merchants! According to a report by Forester Research, a firm that tracks and forecasts technology trends, online sales will more than double by 2010, topping $300 billion.

Earlier this year eBay capitalized on this growing trend with the acquisition of Kurant's award winning e-commerce software, StoreSense. eBay has re-branded StoreSense and it is now being offered by eBay exclusively as ProStores, their new online store solution for e-retailers.

ProStores looks and feels very much the same as StoreSense with the exception of one major difference, eBay ProStores charges a "successful" transaction fee ranging from 0.5% to 1.15% per transaction to their merchant retailers using ProStores.

As a master reseller of StoreSense, Dynamic does not charge any "transaction fees". Our pricing structure remains unchanged. We offer hosted and reseller pricing, at fixed monthly prices. Dynamic offers StoreSense in Starter, Standard, Site and Professional levels. In February 2005, we combined the individual additional modules: Customer Plus, Supplier Connect and Sales Manager into our new Professional Plus level, again at a fixed price.

Dynamic continues to deliver, host, customize and offer personalized professional support to our StoreSense customer base and merchants who want to develop and grow their business.

New StoreSense Release Coming Fall 2005

We are expecting a new version of StoreSense in the fall from eBay. Customers presently utilizing an older version of StoreSense will want to upgrade to the current version, 5.8.0, to take advantage of software fixes and current StoreSense features including:

  • Permission based e-mail marketing capabilities - great for e-mail campaigns
  • Added credit card security - online payment guarantees - reduces fraud
  • Upload products to e-Bay in bulk
  • Increase shipping options
