The dL4 product began shipping on December 1. The official release of dL4 commences with Version 2.1.

In an effort to streamline both the download and developer installation processes, dL4 is packaged and distributed as three (3) separate items: Runtime, Development and Samples & Utilities. dL4 Runtime and dL4 Development are available via download or on tape. Samples & Utilities is available on diskette, too.

All download files include readme files and licensing information. Please be sure to read everything.

Remember that you need Passport Version 3.x or higher to run dL4 properly. The Passport product is available for download, too.

The dL4 Samples & Utilities file contains various shareware programs and helpful examples of conversion tools to assist in the use of and migration to dL4. Be sure to obtain a copy.

dL4 draft manuals are available at no charge, excluding shipping cost.

dL4 Runtime

The dL4 Runtime product contains a standard distribution of the dL4 product for end-users. To download this product use: /usr/dist/xx/dl4/2.1.Z, where xx is the platform ID code.

dL4 Development

The dL4 Development product contains components for developers to create standard and customized versions of dL4 Runtime. To download this product use: /usr/dist/xx/dl4-dev/2.1.Z, where xx is the platform ID code.

dL4 Samples & Utilities

The dL4 Samples & Utilities file contains various shareware programs and helpful examples of conversion tools to assist in the use of and migration to dL4. To download this product use: /usr/dist/FF/dl4-samples/1.1.Z.
