Dynamic Concepts is pleased to announce the immediate release of IQ for Windows version 5.2, which may be downloaded directly from our web site, www.unibasic.com.

There is no charge to upgrade an existing IQ version 5.1 license to version 5.2.

Some of the key features in version 5.2 are:

• Year 2000 compliance, meaning that IQ 5.2 will not produce errors processing date data. For additional information on Y2K and DCI products, read DCI's Y2K Statement of Compliance.
• Support for UniBasic Universal Data files, meaning that you may now install a graphical version of IQ as a companion product to UniBasic 6.
• Retains top and side margins settings for label output format layouts, correcting a problem reported with earlier versions of IQ 5.
• The standard distribution includes popular Microsoft 16-bit ODBC drivers to simplify installation. The included drivers provide access to supported dL4 Full-ISAM files.
• Automatic IQ installation in Common Group for Windows NT installations.

IQ for Windows version 5.2 will run with an existing IQ 5.1 License. Data dictionaries from either IQ version 5 for Windows or IQ version 4 for UNIX are compatible with this release. Please contact your reseller or sales@dynamic.com if you need an SSN for IQ version 5.

IQ for Windows is available for purchase with either UniBasic 6 or dL4. In addition, you may purchase licenses with fewer users than licensed on the companion language product. For example, a 16-user UniBasic or dL4 license may have as few as 2-users licensed for IQ 5 for Windows.
