Frequently Asked Questions - Email

About 99% of the time this is a result of your ISP blocking port 25 (the SMTP, sending port). Known ISPs that do this are AOL, Earthlink, COX, BellSouth and many others. If this is the case, then you will need to use the SMTP server that your ISP suggests. Continue to use the Dynamic settings for POP/IMAP.

We also have made port 587 available for sending mail if your ISP is blocking port 25. Most email applications offer the ability to use an alternate SMTP port - try entering 587 for your outgoing server port and sending mail through that port.
