The subscription includes Software Assurance, which provides a wide range of benefits and services to UniBasic / dL4 users. The annual subscription, priced at 10% of the retail price of software on your license, ensures against technological obsolescence by allowing your license to be upgraded or moved to a new server at no charge.

Software Assurance Premium, priced at 15% of the retail price of software on your license, includes free off-site backup, live technical support and discounts on hosting and disaster recovery services.

Older licenses without Software Assurance, may enter the program by first upgrading to the latest release. Without Software Assurance, your existing license cannot be moved to a new server or operating system.

• Backup all of your UniBasic and dL4 applications and data to our backup servers. We include whatever reasonable amount of space you need to hold several copies of your active applications and data[1]. For further protection, backups are rotated off-site weekly to Iron Mountain or synchronized to a second off-site location. You may also use our storage space for documents or other types of data.

20% Discount On Disaster Recovery, Development and Hosting Services [PREMIUM]

• As a premium subscriber, you are entitled to a 20% discount on any of Dynamic's hosting services, including Dedicated Servers, Disaster Recovery Servers, Web Design, UniBasic/dL4/dynamicXport Development, ProStores e-commerce, off-site storage space and email/web hosting.

Live Technical Support [PREMIUM]

• One-on-one technical support and direct access to Development team. Explore ‘how-to’ scenarios like GUI and web-enabling applications, data encryption, disaster recovery and SQL databases.

Upgrades, Replacements and Transfers to Different Servers or Operating System Platforms

• Upgrade to the latest versions of UniBasic/dL4, transfer to a different server or operating system[2], reallocate users between UniBasic / dL4 / dynamicXport. Consolidate smaller licenses into a larger system, or split a large license onto two or more servers – all at no charge.

Purchase Additional Users on Your License

[1] While there is no specific limit to the amount of space you may use on our backup servers, a reasonable limit of two to three times the total amount of space used on your server for ‘active’ UB/dL4 programs and data, or a GB/User limit may be imposed. Storage exceeding these amounts, or for other types of data, is available for an additional charge.
