Dynamic's Open DataBase Connectivity [ODBC] product consists of two components. The Server module is installed on your application server where your UniBasic or dL4 data resides. A Windows-based client driver may be installed on each Windows system where you want ODBC access to your data. The client systems may then use any ODBC reporting tools, such as Microsoft Access, Excel or Crystal Reports.

Licensing Considerations:

A local area network license is included with your UniBasic or dL4 license for real-time data mining and report generation by staff. This license may not be used by off-site personnel or a web application to access real-time data, or export data for delivery via the web. For such purposes, an External license may be acquired. An unlimited External license is included with dynamicXport.
